Description
The Tyco XLM800 Loop Expansion Module 557.202.007 fits “piggyback” style
onto the FIM or an existing XLM 800. It is used to expand the capability of the
T2000C.I.E. two-loop system to four, six, or eight loops and replace the FIM
loops in case of a failure on either a two- or four-loop system. The Tyco
XLM800 557.202.007 loop expansion module controls the communications between
the detectors (and other ancillaries) connected on the 2-wire loop circuits and
the controller. In addition, the XLM800 contains line isolation circuits, which
protect the loop driver circuit from short-circuit conditions.
