The Analog Input Module, AIM18, is a local acquisition module, part of SEDNI’s DIAMAR® Automation System. This module is intended for different types of signals, such as current or resistance. Normally used to give information about pressure, temperature, levels, etc. Signals are processed internally and transferred through 3 CAN-BUS lines (tri[1] redundancy) to the remote stations, where all monitoring and control functions are available for the operators.
