It uses the principle of infrared absorption to detect hydrocarbon gases and vapors in various concentration ranges. It has a robust stainless-steel enclosure with an ingress protection level of IP66 and IP67. Depending on the certification option, it has an M25 or ¾ NPT mounting thread. Searchpoint Optima Plus has a 4-20 mAsignal output that corresponds to 0-100%FSD. Output values below 4 mA indicate fault, warning, and inhibit.
